Flowers...

December

I love the little bucket my December flowers came in.
You can not see it in the picture but it has jingle bells on it. One more month to go...I can not wait!

November

They are even more beautiful than the last! I love them!
Perfect for November! I miss him so much!

October

Apparently he made a card for every month he was gone and has flowers delivered at the beginning of every month he is away...who could ask for anything more!

My beautiful flowers!

September

These flowers were sent to me from my husband the day after he left. He is so thoughtful, he knew it would make me smile. The flowers are slowly wilting and turning brown, but I can't seem to throw them away yet. I want them there to look at everyday to remind me how wonderful he is. I miss him very much!

Bruneau Canyon

Kelly and I made the bumpy 20 mile dirt road trip up to the Bruneau Canyon and it was worth every bump! It was simply amazing and words can not describe it. It took about and hour to get there from our house and it was a pretty scenic drive the whole way. So if you ever come out here it is a must! Oh and it was freezing! It took me a while before I could feel my fingers again! Next time I will dress a lot warmer. I sure did miss Bill the whole time, I promised to take him when he gets home really soon!

Pumpkin Patch

Bill's mom and I joined some friends on a trainride in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho that took us through the mountains and ended at a little pumpkin patch. It was fun and we all got to take a pumpkin home. The weather ended up being quite warm and we all ended up will a little pink sunburn. It was my first train ride and Bill and I can't wait to go together when he gets back.

Baby Shower Cupcakes for Baby Girl Meeker

Baby Shower number two!

Here is my second attempt at using the fondant for cupcakes. I used mini cookie cutters to make all different cute shapes. Then I just used ribbon for accents. Her colors were pink, brown and sage green so that is was I tried to do. Congrats Sarah!

Baby Shower Cup Cakes

Two Peas in a Pod Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for my friend who had twins 6 weeks ago. The theme was "Two Peas in a Pod". I think they turned out better than I thought they would. Making the fondant was a messy process but fairly easy.

Baby Shower Gift

Keeping with the theme of things...

My shower gift was a diaper creation.

It was pretty simple to make, it took about 36 diapers, one towel and two baby dolls. Then I made a little laminated card for the front.

*FOURTH OF JULY*

We celebrated our freedom this 4th of July with our puppies and our friends. We went to a BBQ and enjoyed the Mountain Home fireworks, they were actually quit nice and surprised us.
Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

The puppies had fun playing outside in their puppy pool and eating their first doggy ice cream...

...too bad their stomachs didn't have so much fun afterwards.
First & last doggy ice cream!

The Boise Zoo

Bill and I took advantage of the beautiful weather in Boise today and went to the zoo. It was kind of small, but great for a short visit. Our favorite was the Tiger.
